Fusing Italian flair with British ingenuity, the partnership between Bowers & Wilkins and Maserati extends far beyond our shared passion for engineering excellence and technological innovation.
For nearly a century, the Trident marque has been a symbol of automotive excellence, and Maserati delivers on that promise. Coupled with a truly immersive in-car acoustic experience, thanks to the Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System, we deliver extraordinary sound for an extraordinary car.
Like music itself, tuning an audio system for an automotive interior is a fine art. Maserati drivers who seek the ultimate acoustics can upgrade to the 1,280-watt Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System - simply the finest in sonic perfection.
A 50-year history of engineering state-of-the-art loudspeakers means that each Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System - available in the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte - has been carefully designed with each model’s unique cabin architecture in mind, ensuring an immersive audio experience.
The system begins with high-end speakers (15 in the Ghibli or Quattroporte, 17 in the Levante), including mid-range drivers and rear woofers made from aramid fiber to eliminate distortion and optimize off-axis performance, a key consideration in automotive acoustics.
Advanced aluminium tweeters capture high-frequency air and detail, while Rohacell? drivers deliver deep, resounding bass. The system features QuantumLogic? Surround Sound Technology, which digitally reconstructs the musical signal, while the Clari-Fi function automatically restores detail lost in digitally compressed music.
The Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System is compatible with most disc formats and features a built-in USB port for a smartphone or MP3 player. Alternatively, tracks can be streamed directly via either Bluetooth?, Apple CarPlay? or Android Auto?11.
